The buyers your farm needs are at MIF. The produce your kitchen needs comes from there too.
Shuri Agri runs two services from inside Mpumalanga International FoodMarket — one for the farmers who supply it and one for the hospitality operators who depend on it.
For lodges, restaurants and events
For Lowveld hospitality operators
Shuri Fresh
Fresh produce procurement and same-day delivery
Sourcing quality fresh produce for a hospitality venue in the Lowveld has never been straightforward. You need someone who knows what is at the market, what is in season locally, and how to get it to your kitchen before service. Most general suppliers do not offer that combination.
Shuri Fresh is the specialist service that fills that gap. We operate from inside MIF, source your order from the trading floor each morning, grade it to your specification and deliver it directly to your venue, without you needing to navigate the wholesale market yourself.
Same-day delivery to your venue
We source from the MIF floor in the morning and deliver to lodges, restaurants and events across the Lowveld the same day. Your produce arrives before service.
Quality grading on the trading floor
Before it reaches your kitchen, every order is graded to the specification you set at account setup. Inconsistent quality from a general supplier is one of the most common reasons hospitality operators switch to Shuri Fresh.
Seasonal planning built into the relationship
Our team tracks what is peaking at MIF week by week. Account clients receive advance notice of what is coming into season so menus can be planned around availability, not the reverse.
Bulk orders for events and functions
Running a conference, safari function or large-scale catering event? We handle large-volume procurement and delivery on a schedule that works around your event timeline.
One contact, one conversation
Every Shuri Fresh client has a named account contact. Orders, changes, delivery queries and billing go through one person who knows your operation.
For Mpumalanga farmers and producers
Shuri AgriTrade
Market agency and commission sales at MIF
Selling at the farm gate captures only a fraction of what your produce is worth by the time it reaches the market. The buyers who pay the best prices are at MIF, but getting in front of them requires a registered agent who knows them, a licence to trade, and the volume to make it worth their attention.
Shuri AgriTrade provides all three. We are a registered market agent at Mpumalanga International FoodMarket. We represent your farm on the trading floor, negotiate with buyers on your behalf, and settle with you weekly at a commission rate that is agreed upfront and shown separately on every statement.
Registered market agent at MIF
Shuri AgriTrade holds a registered market agent licence at Mpumalanga International FoodMarket. Your produce enters the market under our licence, backed by our buyer relationships.
Commission-based with full settlement transparency
We work on commission. Your weekly settlement statement shows the sale price your produce achieved, the buyer who purchased it, and our commission as a separate line item. There is nothing hidden.
Farmer aggregation for volume advantage
Individual smallholder farms rarely have the volume to access top-tier buyers. We aggregate producers so that combined volumes reach the buyer tiers normally reserved for large commercial operations, along with the prices that come with them.
Weekly market pricing reports
Before you decide when to harvest and send, you receive the current MIF pricing for your produce categories. Knowing the market before you commit is information that was previously hard to access.
Grading guidance before your produce arrives
We advise on how to present your produce so it grades at the level buyers pay a premium for. This happens before it leaves your farm, not on the floor after it is too late to act.

How working with Shuri Agri works
From first conversation to first delivery or first sale: four steps.
01
Tell us your situation
A fifteen-minute call is enough to understand whether you are a farmer seeking market access, a lodge requiring reliable produce supply, or a wholesale buyer. We will explain exactly what we can do for you and what the registration process involves.
02
We set up your account
For farmers: we handle the MIF paperwork, agree on a commission rate and begin building your profile with our buyer network. For hospitality clients: we agree on your usual produce list, delivery schedule and quality specifications.
03
Operations begin
Shuri AgriTrade represents your produce on the trading floor. Shuri Fresh sources, grades and routes to your venue. Both happen on a schedule you can plan around.
04
Transparent settlement
Farmers receive a weekly settlement statement. Hospitality clients receive itemised invoices. Neither has hidden fees. Both have a named contact for any query.
